Privacy Policy

Document: Privacy policy of Newark Heater Pros for waterheaterrepairnewarkde.us, phone calls and quote requests. Last updated November 8, 2026.

This policy explains what information Newark Heater Pros ("we," "us") collects when you visit this website, call us or send a quote request, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out our quote form, we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, the service you need and any details you type in.
  • Phone calls. Our phone system logs your phone number and the time and length of the call. We do not record the content of calls unless you are told at the start of the call and agree.
  • Website data. Our host, Cloudflare, logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or build advertising profiles. This site has no advertising cookies.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request and schedule service
  • To call or text you about your request
  • To keep business records and improve our service
  • To meet legal, tax or safety duties

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, email delivery provider and phone system, and only as needed to do that work. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and job records as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and tax rules, then delete or anonymize them.

Call recording and Delaware law

Delaware has two laws on recording calls. The wiretap law, 11 Del. C. § 2402(c)(4), allows a recording when one party consents. The privacy law, 11 Del. C. § 1335(a)(4), bars intercepting a private phone message without the consent of all parties. Because of that, if we ever record a call, we will tell everyone on the call first and record only with their agreement.

Data security and breach notice

We protect the information you send with HTTPS and limit who can see it. If a security breach exposes the personal information of Delaware residents, Delaware's breach law, 6 Del. C. § 12B-102, requires notice without unreasonable delay and no later than 60 days after the breach is determined. We will meet that rule, and notify the Delaware Attorney General when the law requires it.

Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act

The Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (6 Del. C. ch. 12D) took effect January 1, 2025. It applies to businesses that control or process the personal data of at least 35,000 Delaware consumers in a year (or 10,000 if they earn over 20 percent of revenue from selling data). As a small local business we do not expect to reach those levels, but we honor the same core rights for everyone: you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sale or targeted advertising. We do neither.

Calls and texts we make

We call or text only about a request you made. We follow the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the National Do Not Call Registry rules for any other calls. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Call us at (302) 732-0874. We may need to confirm who you are first.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
